Exactly two weeks ago I arrived in New York City filled with joy and excitement. The idea of being in the greatest city in the world with the abundant opportunities and activities that any social twenty-something would desire.
More and more I see God's plan in all this. It was such a smooth transition. So smooth in fact that I was able to get a job less than a week after arriving here. I am staying with my cousins that have treated me with nothing but love and warmth. I have enough money to last me a few months. God has laid the foundations; now it is up to me to build on that foundation.
It rained a lot the first weekend I was here. I have never seen it rain that hard before!

One of the best parts of NYC in the summer are the free events. Free movies in the park in Queens on the East River looking at the Upper East Side.
I saw a filming of some movie or TV show!
