Fuck Shit Up

My first month living in my own NYC apartment is coming to a close.  October 2011 was a great one.  Learning how to live with the just the basics and with new people, having so many friends visit, experiencing my first snowfall, and exploring new areas of brooklyn.  I just wish I had a good group of friends......I still feel disconnected in that area.

Katie came to visit.

David and his girlfriend Jamie came to visit

But what I learned most....

Parallels

I recently got a gig as a photographer for the men's fashion blog: Urban Aesthetics.  Although I have experience working with clients that aren't people I know, this is the first time working with someone who wants them for solely for fashion's sake.  This shoot was also my first, and hopefully not last, in New York City.  So, it's kinda special to me.

Ariel Zorrila, the author of Urban Aesthetics, parallels my life as of now.  We are both at the beginning stages our careers, and we both posses talent, determination, and love for what we do.  I know I will see him at fashion shows and other industry-related events in the future.

Thank you, God.  It's because of You all of this is happening!

Catching Up

October is coming to an end, so I figured that it is time to update this thing.  I haven't had much of inspiration this month.  I am still trying to figure out exactly what inspiration is.  It's not tangible nor is it consistent.  It may drench you in a downpour or ease into your mind like droplets of water.  Either way, I think inspiration is returning.

Anyways, updates:
